A year of working through Covid-19 restrictions and lacklustre annual leave (where instead of being on a beach far from our troubles, we are locked in our home with a book and a takeaway) has finally hit. Returning to my makeshift home desk after the Easter weekend, I found myself sluggish and unmotivated.

The pandemic – or, more accurately, the Government’s handling of the pandemic – has caused incredible devastation to businesses. Recovery will be an arduous process for many. Business leaders must be ready to pivot their offerings quickly and efficiently and find new ways to stand out, especially in saturated markets.

ew ideas are overrated, you can find them on every street corner. We’ve been in a holding pattern for a year, where everyone you meet is an expert on COVID and has their own ideas about what should happen. I’m sick of hearing them.
